What is the maximum weight TMX Intermodal can transport for 20ft and 40ft containers?
Except for Houston, TX, TMX Intermodal can safely handle:
- Up to 51,000 lbs on a 20-foot container
- Up to 54,000 lbs on a 40-foot container
Our overweight container hauling capabilities allow us to support heavy freight, import/export cargo, and port drayage requiring specialized overweight routes.
Can TMX Intermodal move Air Cargo, LTL, or FTL shipments?
No. TMX Intermodal specializes exclusively in FCL (Full Container Load) drayage services. We do not currently transport air cargo, LTL, or FTL freight.
